Performing Arts
Since 2013, Alabaster Box Center of Performing Arts, Inc., known as Alabaster Box Copa, has been a place where young people could explore performing arts while reinforcing academics and learning how to live a Godly life. We believe that the pursuit, mastery, and experience of performing arts, partnered with academics, greatly enriches the lives of the students we serve. Our students learn to use their creative talents, arts, and performances to help them develop a sense of identity, independence, discipline, and self-worth.
Additionally, shared artistic experiences, such as those gained through our program, can be powerful unifying forces, affirming deep bonds across cultural, ethnic, and generational lines, which is especially important given our current social climate.
