Our programs are virtually accessible, and we are committed to finding new ways to help our student base grow to become bigger and better versions of themselves.
We believe that the pursuit, mastery, and experience of performing arts, partnered with academics, greatly enriches the lives of the students we serve. Our students learn to use their creative talents, arts, and performances to help them develop a sense of identity, independence, discipline, and self-worth.
Since the onset of the pandemic, we've discovered that the face of education has changed. This change could hold the promise of many wonderful discoveries that will help improve our world. Alabaster Box Center of Performing Arts, Inc. believes now is the time for us to take advantage of opportunities to help humanity.
Our Senior Council of Elders program was developed with mature adults, age 55 and over, in mind, as a space where they can engage in intellectual, spiritual, and philosophical group discussions, wellness activities, learn new skills and hobbies, and mentor others.
Blast off into a universe of imagination with the Galaxy Reading Program! Designed to spark curiosity and a lifelong love of reading, this program takes participants on an interstellar journey through stories, knowledge, and creativity. Our Galaxy Reading Program focuses on preschool to third grade. Strategies include Phonics, Concepts of Print, word identification and so much more. Sign up today and help your child excel.
Step into a world where imagination takes center stage. Our Creative and Visual Arts programs celebrate the power of expression through color, texture, movement, and design. This showcase highlights the talent and vision of artists who bring ideas to life across a variety of mediums—including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media, fiber arts, and mixed techniques.
